Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 9, 2026

1. Who We Are and Scope

Flowly LLC (“Flowly,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates Flowly websites, FlowlyBoard, browser-based tools, and related services (collectively, the “Services”). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information when you use the Services. It does not govern third-party websites, apps, or services that have their own privacy policies.

2. Information We Collect

Account information. If you sign in with Google, we receive identifiers and profile details made available through that sign-in, such as your user ID, name, email address, and profile image.

Content and workspace information. We process boards, designs, images, SVGs, font files, reference images, search keywords, storage notes, tool inputs, generated outputs, and other content or settings you submit or save.

Subscription and referral information. We receive subscription status, plan and billing interval, payment-related identifiers, referral codes, credits, and transaction status from our payment provider. Flowly does not receive or store your complete payment-card number.

Communications. We collect information you send when you contact us, request support, submit feedback, or make a content request.

Technical and usage information. If you accept analytics, we and our analytics providers may collect device and browser information, approximate location derived from IP address, pages and features used, interaction data, referring pages, and diagnostic information. We do not intentionally send filenames, board names, email addresses, or raw uploaded content in analytics events.

3. How We Collect Information

We collect information directly from you, automatically from your browser or device, and from providers you use with Flowly, including Google for sign-in and Stripe for subscription billing. We may also create operational information when the Services process your requests, such as asset metadata, generated previews, and service logs.

4. Why We Use Information

We use information to:

  • provide, personalize, maintain, and secure the Services;
  • authenticate accounts and sync saved work across sessions;
  • process uploads and provide requested previews, background removal, vectorization, and generated files;
  • administer subscriptions, referrals, credits, and customer support;
  • diagnose errors, prevent fraud or misuse, and enforce our Terms;
  • comply with legal obligations and protect legal rights; and
  • measure and improve the Services when you have accepted analytics.

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and protecting the Services, compliance with legal obligations, and your consent for optional analytics. You may withdraw analytics consent at any time through the cookie choices we provide.

5. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Flowly uses local storage, cookies, and similar technologies necessary for authentication, security, saved preferences, and app continuity. With your permission, Flowly also loads Google Analytics/Firebase Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand use of the Services and improve usability. Optional analytics do not load unless you select “Accept analytics.” Selecting “Only necessary” does not limit core access to the Services.

Your choice is stored in your browser, so it may not follow you to another browser or device. Clearing browser storage may reset it. You can withdraw consent by clearing Flowly site data; we may also provide additional cookie controls as the Services evolve.

6. How We Share Information

We may disclose information to:

  • Google and Firebase for sign-in, hosting, databases, file storage, cloud functions, and related infrastructure;
  • Stripe for checkout, billing, subscription management, refunds, and referral credits;
  • image-processing providers when you request a feature such as background removal; the relevant uploaded image is sent only as needed to perform the requested processing;
  • Google Analytics/Firebase Analytics and Microsoft Clarity if you accept optional analytics;
  • vendors that provide infrastructure, security, support, or professional services on our behalf;
  • authorities or other parties when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or safety, investigate misuse, or enforce agreements; and
  • a successor or participant in a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or transfer of our business, subject to applicable law.

We do not sell personal information for money or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not share private uploaded content publicly unless you choose a feature that publishes or shares it.

7. Uploaded Content and Automated Processing

Uploaded content may be stored and processed to provide the feature you request. Some image tools send the relevant image to a specialized service provider for processing, such as background removal. Generated results may be retained with your workspace so you can continue using or editing them.

8. Retention

We retain account and workspace information while your account is active or as needed to provide the Services. We may retain transaction, security, support, and legal records longer when reasonably necessary to comply with law, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, or enforce agreements. Archived or replaced asset files may remain in protected backup or cleanup systems for a limited period before deletion. Consent preferences remain in your browser until they expire, are replaced, or you clear site data.

9. International Processing

Flowly and its providers may process information in the United States and other countries where privacy laws may differ from those where you live. Where required, we use recognized safeguards for international transfers or rely on another lawful transfer mechanism.

10. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of personal information; restrict or object to certain processing; withdraw consent; or appeal a decision about a privacy request. You may also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority. These rights may be subject to legal exceptions and verification requirements.

You may manage or cancel a subscription through the account menu and Stripe customer portal. To make a privacy request or ask for account-linked data deletion, email admin@flowlyapp.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.

11. Children

The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to Flowly, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.

12. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. No transmission, processing method, or storage system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the Services, our practices, or applicable law. We will post the revised policy and update its effective date. Where required, we will provide additional notice or request renewed consent.

14. Contact

Flowly LLC is responsible for the processing described in this policy. Privacy questions and requests can be sent to admin@flowlyapp.com.
